Imodium Plus (2mg loperamide hydrochloride / 125mg simeticone) tablets are used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of acute diarrhoea when it is accompanied by painful abdominal discomfort, cramps, bloating, and gas/wind.
• Loperamide hydrochloride, which helps reduce diarrhoea by slowing down an overactive bowel. It also helps the body to absorb more water and salts from the bowel.
• Simeticone, which breaks up the gas bubbles in the bowel that causes cramps and bloating.
While we endeavour to keep all online ingredient listings 100% accurate, product formulations may be updated by manufacturers. We advise always checking the ingredient list on the physical product packaging before use.
