What is Lemsip Max Cough & Cold used for?
It is used for the short-term relief of cold and flu symptoms, including headache, sore throat, fever, body aches and pains, and chesty coughs.
How does it help with a chesty cough?
It contains guaifenesin, an expectorant that helps loosen mucus in the chest, making it easier to cough up.
Who can take Lemsip Max Cough & Cold?
It is suitable for adults and adolescents aged 16 years and over.
Can I take it with other paracetamol medicines?
No. Do not take this medicine with any other products containing paracetamol, as this may increase the risk of overdose.
How many sachets are included?
Each pack contains 5 lemon-flavoured sachets for preparing a hot oral solution.
Does it contain sugar?
Yes. The formulation contains sucrose and also contains aspartame (E951), which is a source of phenylalanine. People with diabetes or phenylketonuria (PKU) should read the patient information leaflet before use.
