Lysine is an essential amino acid that must be obtained through the diet or supplementation as it cannot be made in the body. While there are many food sources it can be difficult to obtain enough to correct deficiency symptoms.

Lysine is a building block for protein, growth and muscle turnover that may help with protein synthesis.

It is also a precursor to carnitine, a nutrient responsible for converting fatty acids into energy and helping lower cholesterol and burn fats.

Adults: Take 1-2 capsules daily with water
