Rénergie H.C.F. Triple Serum combines three active ingredients chosen for their ability to optimise skin’s regenerative potential. Our research team has been reconstructing human skin models in our laboratories since 1979. Over the past four decades, our models have evolved to become ever more predictive and reliable, mimicking skin layer by layer in all its complexity. Today, we have the possibility to model different skin and age conditions, which allows us to understand the role of cellular and tissular interactions within those parameters. We can also analyse real-time interactions between potent active ingredients and different layers of the skin to assess an ingredient’s efficacy and its ability to boost skin’s regenerative potential.
We know that the visible signs of ageing, such as lack of firmness, wrinkles and pigmentation disorder, are linked to changes in skin architecture, which are caused by age and lifestyle choices. As we age, the epidermis gets thinner, for instance, and the dermal-epidermal junction becomes flatter. Meanwhile, in the dermis, collagen and elastin fibres become less abundant, modified and disorganised. Our skin modelling expertise allows us to see the impact active ingredients can have on these changes and to understand how we can optimise their efficacity. HYALURONIC ACID
Ferment-based, Hyaluronic Acid is obtained by bio-technology and green chemistry, and is lauded for its ability to help smooth and re-plump the skin with moisture. Rénergie H.C.F. Triple Serum’s next-generation Hyaluronic Acid offers enhanced skin penetration and remanence (lasting 13 times longer in the skin versus standard Hyaluronic Acid). Its anti-wrinkle properties have been proven in vivo.
VITAMIN C + NIACINAMIDE
A Vitamin C derivative and Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) contribute to skin tone management and combat dark spots. Vitamin C derivative helps to brighten and even skin tone, while Niacinamide helps soothe skin and prevent pigmentation.
FERULIC ACID
Pure at 99%, this plant-based ingredient is extracted from rice germ or bran using green chemistry. As a powerful antioxidant, it neutralises free radical damage to protect skin from future ageing. By strengthening the skin barrier, Ferulic Acid also helps to improve the quality of skin.
The three hero active ingredients are combined with gluco-peptides from linseed extract, the signature performance engine of the Rénergie range. This powerhouse ingredient is obtained from residual oil cake generated during cold pressure oil extraction from organic linseeds harvested and sourced in the Loire Valley and South-West region of France. Linseed extract is ultra-concentrated in peptides (33%)* and oligosaccharides (45%)*, which support skin hydration.

To combine these hero ingredients, Lancôme pioneered a new high-tech pack design so that each active is held within separate chambers.
