What are Peptan® Collagen Peptides?
Collagen is a unique protein that makes up to 70% of the skin while also being the most abundant protein in the body. Collagen is the major insoluble fibrous protein in the extracellular matrix of the skin, with the most abundant form being Type 1 Collagen. Collagen peptides are a special form of collagen in which the protein has been hydrolysed. This means that the protein is broken down into smaller chains of amino acids, making it bioavailable and more easily absorbed by the body. Each sachet of Beauty Complex contains 7,000mg of Peptan® Collagen Peptides (Type 1 Hydrolysed Collagen).
What are Phytoceramides?
Environmental factors such as cold weather and sun exposure, can have a detrimental effect on the skin. The skin is the barrier between the body and the environment around us and Ceramides play a key role in the skin’s barrier function. Ceramides are a type of naturally occurring, long-chain fatty acid which make up to 50 percent of the skin’s epidermis (its outer layer). Phytoceramides refer to Ceramides derived from plants, as opposed to synthetic or animal-derived Ceramides. Each sachet of Beauty Complex contains 100mg of Phytoceramides.
What is Hyaluronic Acid?
The skin is the heaviest and largest organ in the body, making up about one seventh of our body weight. Daily environmental damage combined with the normal process of aging, causes moisture loss. A key molecule involved in skin moisture is Hyaluronic Acid - a compound that has a unique capacity to bind and retain water molecules. While Hyaluronic Acid is found in many areas of the body, up to 50% can be found in the skin. Each sachet of Beauty Complex contains 100mg of Hyaluronic Acid.
What is Biotin?
Biotin is one of the eight B vitamins. In some countries it‘s referred to as vitamin H, which is derived from ‘Haar und Haut’ - the German words for ‘hair and skin’. Biotin is also a water-soluble vitamin, which plays a role in the maintenance of hair and skin. It cannot be made by the body and therefore must be taken in through a normal balanced diet and/or supplementation. Each sachet of Beauty Complex contains 150g of Biotin.

How do you take Beauty Complex?
Empty contents of the sachet into a glass and add approximately 250-300ml water and stir to dissolve. If the water is chilled it may take longer to dissolve.
How much should you take each day?
It is recommended to take one sachet a day, at any time of the day, after food. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet and healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
